Fare thee well Marjorie, you were one classy dame.

A drive down to Chester today to say adieu to, and celebrate the life of, one of Mrs IttH's best friends Mum.

Mrs IttH and C have been friends since before they could speak, constant and true. I've met Marjorie a few times over the last three decades and she was always immaculate, articulate and charming. The very (British) definition of a true dame.
She had a glorious day and a lovely send off with a great turnout only fitting for someone who added so much to so many lives.

As ever, one step removed, it felt a privilege to be part of it, to hear someone talked about with so much love and fond regard. When we go, as go we must, I think we'd all be proud to be so well thought of.
