Auld Grutness Pier

A windy day, dull and showers this evening.  There was a fair bit of light well after 4pm today.

Popped by Madeline's on my morning walk, and then headed down to Laura's for a cuppa, and mam was there too.  On late shift in the airport today, and a fairly quiet day.  A mad rush with the last two flights of the day.  More walkies with Sammy this evening, and managed to avoid the showers.  Feet up now.

Blue Monday certainly had a grey and dull feel about it, but I kept myself upbeat all day.  It wasn't much of a day for a lunchtime walk, but I headed out all the same, and made my way down the old pier.  A few times the waves splashed up over, nearly soaked my feet.  I hadn't been down this pier before, usually there's birds hanging out here.  Taken at the old Grutness pier, Sumburgh.
