Old Doors in Walls

These very old doors lead from two separate houses. The smaller one comes from the original manor house, the other from what was probably the largest farmhouse in the village. Both lead out to an important footpath that runs from our village to our nearest neighbouring village. The path will have been there for hundreds of years. It's a shame we cant really time travel to see what life was like for villagers as they walked to and fro.

A good walk with Clare this afternoon. The sun was shining and it wasnt that cold. Wish it was like that all the time.
