Had a half-day in work, so that I could catch my flight. It was a bit bumpy along the way and I blubbed through 'Marley and Me' but four and a half hours later, I walked into the thick heat of Abu Dhabi. Straight to Fin's verrrry nice flat for a drink or two before a late bite to eat at Automatic - a yummy Lebanese place on the corner of a busy street - sat outside until about midnight eating falafel, fattoush, shwarma.... Mmmm - brought back memories of being in Um Qais in Jordan. All washed down with.... water. I forgot it was 'dry'!
