The Walk

A fine morning. Visit to the library with Arlo stopping off at the fair trade coffee shop on leith walk (magic for people watching) on the way. Arlo took home a bumper crop of books (including yet another Oliver Jeffers gem) and I nabbed a copy of Tim Burgess' autobiography.

I'm pretty sure that Tim Burgess' book is going to be rotten, but The Charlatans were pretty much the first band I took to my heart and the first decent band t-shirt I owned. It was a t-shirt to promote this single.

The afternoon was less pleasurable. I hammering at rugby and a personal performance that felt like running through treacle and a little bit soft all told.
