Wolf Moon
The painting in the bedroom has begun at last - first coat on the ceiling, and first coat of primer/undercoat on the woodwork. There's an awful lot of woodwork. Far more that I had anticipated when calculating how much paint we would need, and late afternoon we realised that we'd need more paint before progressing much further. So a trip to the DIY shop in Berwick was necessary, and we decided to have fish & chips while we were there to avoid having to cook and wash up afterwards.
We ate looking over the sea at Greenses Harbour, and the view was magical as the light of the bright Wolf Moon (extra) in a clear sky turned the sea silver! Not quite as 'magical' as in the Blip - the starlike appearance of the moon is entirely the fault of the photographer!
Home to continue painting - well after 10.00pm before I finally slumped down in front of the TV.
Apparently, on the night of the first full moon in January, we should go to sleep with our wishes and hopes for the year ahead in our thoughts. Maybe I'll do that - if I remember before dropping off!
