Bridge 203 - Trent & Mersey

Not strictly a bridge but it is numbered as 203 at the eastern entrance. Saltersford Tunnel is 424 yards long and is so narrow that boats cannot pass each other. It is also slightly crooked so you can't see clearly through to the other end. As far as I understand there are timed entrances although we couldn't see any mention of this at the western end so Im not sure how it works.

I was out geocaching with Paul on a lovely 5 mile walk in excellent weather. The route took us along the River Weaver from the Leigh Arms at Acton Bridge and then back along the Trent and Mersey canal.
