today is great news day:
i had a telephone call from the head & neck nurse who told me the histology report was: clear……
i received the news sitting in the dentist chair in Shrewsbury hospital where another nurse was taking the stitches out .
A specialist came in and told me the good news too! He was a bit careful with the wound and put broad steri strips on for a month. He gave me a few extra for when one gets dirty because of food.
I need to be very careful with opening my mouth because the wound is still very tender especially in the corner……..it’s a good thing to learn to ‘live in the moment……’. :)
