Down by the lake

A cool, crisp day with clear blue skies and soft, distant mountain layers with a hint of pink mist.  Good to keep our walk a little brisk. Over ten thousand steps today - and I hadn't done that in a while. The lake is only fifteen minutes away from my nearest metro station. 

Extras:
There was some very fascinating tree felling going on along the lake. The workmen stopped the traffic just before a huge branch came tumbling down. The tree was extremely high. It could have been a cedar. Two men were in the tree suspended on multiple cords. I managed to capture the shot when a branch was on the way down.  Such clever and brave climbers.
