WORTH THE EFFORT

After another interrupted night I'm feeling tired and below-par, but made myself go out and was glad I did. The kestrel was hunting all over the old cemetery so stalking it gave me a good workout, and eventually it relented and stayed on the obelisk long enough for me to get close and get a few good shots. Look big for what no vole wants to see.

There were quite a few birds courting and showing off to each other today, including some wrens which weren't being quite so furtive as usual. The extra is for new(ish) Blipper wrencottage, who loves them as her name suggests.
