the city awakes

WFH.

Went for an early walk to see the sunrise on Blackford Hill. The morning spectacle was excellent although I failed on several technical aspects: 1. I forgot my phone so no GPS track and easy geotagging (at least I was in just one place); 2. I left the FTZ adapter so I couldn't have a tele view of the Fife coast (sorry rockit, but it was probably too hazy anyway); and 3. when I processed the images I discovered a hair on the sensor (luckily I was going for a panoramic crop). Anyway, really enjoyed the sunrise. Although, the constant noise from the cars is alarming. The extra showed the same view a few minutes before the sun popped over the horizon.
