Ryde Pier

This morning I ran a coupe of errands before work. I took some decluttered items to the charity shop and went to pick up my prescription from Boots. It’s the small wins.

Just after 8am we took a train to Portsmouth & Southsea, via Guildford.  Due to engineering works the trains were not running all the way to Portsmouth Harbour and a replacement bus was in service. However, the trains were much cheaper to get off and walk - so we did.   And the boarded a Wightlink Catamaran to Ryde.  It was a cold, crisp but dry day on the Island. 

In the evening we went to a Thai restaurant on the Main Street which was doing a great trade for off-season. My duck red curry was delicious.  Then it was back to the Travelodge where we were staying for what was left of the evening.
