Looking Up

I mentioned that I fancied a trip down to the River Don in town - normally a regular haunt but I haven't been since pre-pandemic. Mr PB said he would like that too, so we decided to make a day of it and do the 5 Weirs Walk - a route which follows the river from the city centre to Meadowhall, It's not  the most glamorous area but feels like a secret route through the normally unseen side of the industrial and post-industrial part of the city. There is also the surprise of some great bird life -  Goosander on the water, Grey Wagtail and Heron and Kingfisher close by, and when we looked up, we spotted Kestrel and Cormorant high up on the tall industrial downlighters.
Ive gone mad with extras today - the aforementioned Cormorant, Norfolk Bridge and a sweet little bit of street art.
