Happy Chance
A day of this and that. Finished my run of photocard making - the opening stock for this year will be 100. A few little admin jobs, popped over to Jamie's on what turned out to be a wild goose chase - not of his making.
Meg's walk was delayed a little while Ruth tried out an online support session for the first time so the sun had set by the time we arrived at the seafront. The tide was way out and the beach was deserted so I could let Meg loose ..... to chase stones that I threw. Great exercise for her, daft dog that she is. It's not about bringing them back, just the thrill of the chase!
And then we were not alone, happily spotted by C and her Meg. One of only two local dogs that our Meg has befriended, the others we encounter all involve her feeling the need to bark an angry warning! Good to catch up with C for the first time this year and stroll along the sand with the dogs. My lack of a photo for Blip was resolved as the afterglow developed colourfully for a few minutes. As Tryfan commented yesterday, the colours are more intense half an hour after sunset. All in all, a lovely end to the afternoon.
