York

This is the view from the front window of our home for the week.

Arrived at York after a relatively peaceful drive. We stopped to have lunch at an Italian restaurant in Newcastle.
Had a little wander round York before tea and will probably do some more wandering tomorrow and leave inside attractions for days when it rains.

Found a translation app that is making communication easier between C and the rest of us easier. Mark and C seem to manage to find things in common without language. I see much mischief ahead.

Jamie has already found 3 shops with guitars. I feel a wool shop hunt coming on!
C and I found a dolls shop. Being the mother of 3 boys I don't have much experience with doll shops. The dolls were amazing. Some looked exactly like tiny babies. For those of you with Facebook I will post a pic. These dolls cost over £250 each eek!
