busy day,, busy of mind.. short on deed... lots of content if not activity .. got scrubbed from my 1545 run to be put on spare.. yeah love spare i do ,, especially when they say at 1400 pm... heres a run to exeter ... things to make ya go ummmm.. anyway , cut the other spare driver a deal..and for me i toddled off home at 1600 pm..can hack that easy enough .. have a roll call of drivers retiring , leaving , which is sad.. Wilf rowland... al`right boy..always in a tee shirt no matter what the weather.. salt of the earth guy.. a true charactor who will be missed. Carl fawson,, one of my PM colleagues who went on past retirement age and promptly run out of patience as well it would appear..Moaning Mike Murzell..me and mike have a thing going ,, he calls me womble ..i call him ****** .. like mike i do .. Stan the man shunter extraordinar looks like it will be an uphill battle to get back to fitness to resume his role , hope to see him back,, hes a good ole boy.. face of the drivers is changing a bit ...suddenly im feeling like an old hand.. still enjoyed our "sewing circle" chats round the canteen table , today it was with alex "the silver fox" ..a man that can charm at a hundred paces..in his day this man is deadly with charm,, a typical truck driver..and stephen mullins ,, who isnt,, looks like a scientist.. takes alsorts of us to make the mac`s world spin..
