Sunrise in the city

I got to my flat in Reykjavík around 10 PM last night. It was so good, after the long day I've had. But I was very happy to have been able to meet my mother at the hospital yesterday, and stay with her until she was back at the nursing home. As I'm writing this I'm at her side, but she's been given morphine and is fast asleep.
