We flew to our island in the sun on Monday. We left Bristol in brilliant sunshine and arrived to a very damp Tenerife. We took the ferry at 8pm and stayed overnight in a clean but basic hotel in the capital. Yesterday morning after filling up on breakfast it was still very overcast and after getting some food supplies in the market and supermarket we drove over the mountains to our apartment. There was thick fog at elevation so we were pleased we took the right decision to stay over.
This is my 7 year blip but I would be nearer to 8 had I blipped every day. Blip is a great community and I am pleased to have met some of you in person and virtually. It’s great the way everyone encourages each other especially when they are ill or hard times. 
We did the “cemetery walk” this afternoon and this is the view of our harbour and village. There is a chilly east wind blowing over from the Sahara and we currently have a calima which brings dust and reduces visibility.
