Another routine visit to Salisbury Hospital

The old, original section in joined to the new section via a very long corridor, far to long for me to wheel.

Then there is a rather steep gradient past all the maternity wards.

It is affectionately known as Maternity Hill.

When booking a double appointment at two hospital centres I try to go from A to B and so DOWN Maternity Hill. But once I could not do that and had to go from B to A or UP the Hill. The superb porter service staff member took it in her stride (literally) and up the Hill we went.
