Kim’s Quilt

Between us N and I spent 8 hours today waiting at Mum’s for an equipment delivery which never materialised! Very frustrating….however we both took the chance to get on with things we needed to do. Fortunately mum of course has a sewing machine so I completed the top of the quilt I’ve been working on. I must admit to being pleased with it. Just got to sandwich, quilt and bind it now then I can give it to K :) There’s something very positive about being able to make something for someone else at a time when I feel I have very little control over my own days at the moment. 
I visited mum this afternoon …..she’s been a bit unwell but is over that and fairly cheery.
