Life!

Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get.

2 weeks ago my gorgeous lovely girlfriend was happy and healthy and we were looking forward to building a life together.
We had a relaxing holiday and then I moved from London to the Cotswolds to be with her.

Today, she sits in a hospital bed in Gloucester. Her facial nerve is inflamed, causing paralysis in the face. She can't smile, her eyes hurt and are massively sensitive to the light. She has pain behind her ears, under her jaw and in her forehead. And her body is really fatigued.

The doctors suspect Miller-Fisher syndrome. But after blood tests, an MRI and a Lumber Puncture they have still not confirmed this. And so don't know what treatment to give.

So poor Dipti sits in the hospital bed waiting. Under observation.

My heart goes out to Dipti or PixiePix as she is known on here. Hopefully soon we will get some news and get her on the road to recovery.
