Horse riders
All seemed to be okay at my pre-op so next stage is Covid swab on 4th February and then isolate until the operation on the 7th. Have to come off my Warfarin for five days prior to this and have injections in the tummy for a few days. Deep joy as either Jayne or myself will need to do that.
After the hospital, where I must say the staff we're wonderful as always, I headed home for a spot of lunch before taking a local walk to get my steps up. Weather quite pleasant with some sunshine before dusk rolled in. Back home to lay the fire and just got it lit before Jayne got back.
The problem is that one can get too used to your local area and the familiarity often means that it can lead to a lack of inspiration even though there really is always something to take a photo of if you just looked a little harder. Perhaps easier said than done though.
We see a few horse riders in the area and these two ladies passed by along Talton Lane and the extra is of a heron giving me the eye from the far bank of the River Stour. Soon be time for them to start pairing up I think.
