African Swagger

Title doesn't hold much relevance to the picture - just refers to a song that's been stuck in my head.

Half day at work, followed by a long and winding walk with Celse and Rachel to visit the location of his new art project running classes for local kids. In the most unlikely of location, Celse and Innocent (pictured) have hidden away their tiny studio amongst houses in a pretty poor area. It was a pretty cool place.

Tomorrow is the first day of Genocide Commemoration Week. The whole country becomes sombre and subdued as people come remember the events of 1994. As a Mzungu, it's best to keep a low profile and to observe tacfully and respectfully the various public and personal events of the coming week.
