A closer view

We were back into Lincoln for hair appointments today. Another blue sky day, but a bit warmer than a couple of weeks ago.

This view is slightly different to the one on the 4th January, as we were closer to the building on the bridge. I hadn’t realised that it is the oldest of the three remaining bridges in England with building on top of them. The bridge was built in 1160 and the current timber framed structures built into the bridge deck date to around 1550.

We walk up the steps, behind the girl on the left, to access the High St. A lot of history.
