Slapton Sands, Start Bay
Our last day living in Devon, and our last night any time now! Lovely sunshine again, and late afternoon, son and I walked the coast path down to Strete Gate. The sunlight on the sea was glorious. On the horizon you can see the church tower in Stoke Fleming and, across the River Dart, the day mark tower. More tidying up and cleaning, and a quick farewell visit to our elderly neighbour across the road, who turned 96 last month. She's as bright as a button.
My Extras are from halfway down the coast path, where the sea lies east of the road, and the freshwater nature reserve, Slapton Ley, lies west. The other is a view of the beach from above.
