Out and about

another new winter walk for us. We started in the beautiful little village of Evershot and walked through Melbury Park, part of the huge Ilchester estate, walking past Melbury house which was built in the 1500’s and is still owned by the same family. We continued our walk up to Melbury Osmond - I so love some of the village names in Dorset! Continued through lots of countryside and woodland, past Lucerne Lake (!) and back to the village where we then looked in the church. A very successful walk, if a little muddy in places.
