Suburban Surprise

This afternoon when glancing out over our deck we were surprised to see two horses tied to the school fence.

The kids headed down there in a flash and in no time at all had the lowdown like professional investigative journalists!

Turns out the horses Cinders and Nibbles were to pull a carriage in a wedding to be held nearby. They were very patient horses ad put up with endless patting!

Bonus time was after the wedding the very friendly owner took the kids and myself for a ride in the carriage up and down the street.

We felt like royalty!

Now that is something that definitely does not happen every day!
