The Blipper, Cowboy and his horse

Ten minutes up the Valley, a 'Cowboy Challenge' is being held, where a number of 'Cowboys' are given certain challenges to complete on their horses. Some of these included towing a hay bale on the ground, walking over plastic sheets, dancing to music, riding through plastic strips etc. I'm not a horsey person, but it is interesting to watch these talented riders making their horses undertake these challenges.

We left at lunch time, and walking back to our vehicle, I noticed these two, walking hand in hand, her holding her camera, and him his horse. I quickly snapped a photo or two off - and like this one best.

It seemed strange this morning getting up an hour later to milk. The cows were waiting in their paddock by the gate, obviously all confused as to why they had been left waiting an extra hour. It was however, nice to finish milking with some daylight, and not dark, like we usually are. The difference will be tonight's milking, where it will be dark before we get home. We just may have to start a tiny wee bit earlier.
