tree of the future?

saw this tree out on the pier where i was working at the time, i had wanted to take some pictures of the water, but after taking this shot, my battery died, but this is a cool one, looks like a tree of the future, im not even sure what everything is on there, might be a light, a sensor and a receiver of some sort, looks cool to me
