Take-off

I kayaked upriver from the Eureka West boat ramp yesterday.  Quiet and peaceful out there until a group of very social ka-yakers came floating by.  I just pulled over into the water weeds until the sound of voices disappeared.  
And the birds resumed their normal activities, like the Limpkins pairing up to mate.  From a distance, human voices sound like Ibis or is it Ibis sound like humans having a good chat?
