Dredge

A group of students or alumni I guess, working to restore the rose garden at Brackenhurst today, clearing out this old pond. 

It was originally created in 1928 by Sir William Norton Hicking who founded G and WN Hicking, lace bleachers and finishers of Nottingham. The tiles in the far wall were imported from Italy and also used in making the nearby pergolas.

Finally got round to reconnecting my rca cables, having turned them round a few times within the sockets to clean them. Gold plated (I think) they looked spotless before I did this, but in any event, sound out of both channels on my CD player now.
