Splash of colour

Today we walked along the old railway track which has been upgraded by the local paths group. They have planted a lot of native trees and added seats and an information board. A group of village children planted a lot of snowdrops last year but there is no sign of them yet.
 I think this bush has escaped from a nearby garden sometime in the past. It makes a brilliant splash of colour against the bare trees and bushes around it. The extra is a close up of the berries.
