Mum and I went to the "Helen Frankenthaler: Radical Beauty" exhibition at the Dulwich Picture Gallery. It was worth seeing, but the proofs and process fascinated me far more than the finished pieces, although I do find the colours and textures that she used very appealing.
I enjoyed photographing figures against the artworks (or reflected on the covering glass), and my favourite detail was the pencil annotation on one of the proofs that read "this does not bother me".
