St Mungo Museum of Religious Life & Art
The museum is named after Glasgow's patron saint who brought the Christian faith to Scotland in the 6th century. It is built on the site of the medieval Bishop's Castle and is designed in its style.
The museum has been closed for over a year due to funding cuts and the loss of income due to the pandemic. It is now at risk of permanen t closure. The charity "Interfaith Glasgow" has launched an online petition to save the museum.
