Black crowned night heron

At Kealia Ponds Wildlife Reserve. There were a lot of them terrorizing the fish. 
Extra's from the snorkel trip which turned into a whale watch after 1 hour due to the water getting too rough for safety . But was saddened by the reef at Molokini - a far cry from 25 yrs ago . Not a lot of fish and the coral was not healthy.  Apparently a combo of overfishing , the aquarium trade and coral bleaching from warming seas. It is heartbreaking what we are losing.
