Wedding

We witnessed our friends wedding.

It was the simple, low key event that they wanted. Just us four, no rings, no music and no fuss.

The purple haired registrar arrived at around the same time we did and because ours was the only ceremony scheduled we were finished fifteen minutes before it was due to start. The registrar took a picture for my blip on my phone.

We had coffees nearby and then headed to an Italian restaurant for lunch.

My pa was tasked with looking after Roo. I think he enjoyed the responsibility and sense of purpose. It was the best day of the year so far and tomorrow I am off on a parkrun adventure. It could be the best weekend too.
