The continuing saga

I went out in the Morris Minor last evening. On the way home I had a sinking feeling. That was my foot sinking to the floor when placed on the brake pedal. The photo confirms what I already suspected. The front left slave cylinder is leaking brake fluid over the inside of the tyre. Back to the garage Monday for repair. The trick will be driving across town with only the handbrake  for stopping. I will be driving slowly and taking great care. The Morris is 60 this year. I need to remind Morrie that it is not yet time to retire.
