Lean on Me

My friend Andy is putting together an anthology of poems about Perthshire and I ( foolishly) volunteered to provide 4 of the poems. So long since I wrote anything poetic that I think that part of my brain has shriveled beyond use. One of the things I have offered to write about is the beautiful Kinclaven woods. I've posted pictures here before of its stunning bluebells in May. Took a walk there today in search of inspiration.
These are some of the veteran beech trees, one of which seems to have toppled in storm Arwen.
