TWO YEARS TODAY

Two years today
We laid you to rest
And I miss you every day. 
I think about you all the time
I’m with you every step of the way. 

Two other greats passed today,
Meatloaf and Thich Nhat Hanh. 
Say hi if you see them pass you by,
Only if you can. 

I try to let go
And move on with life
But I find it very hard. 
You were such a big part
Of all I did,
And I just don’t know where to start. 
You may rest assured 
I will never forget you
And all the great times we had.
