Swan On The Tyne
A walk beside the Tyne today where I saw this swan in the mud. It's partner was close by.
The extra shows a contrast of old and new buildings on the Newcastle side of the water. In the photo you can see Newcastle Keep built by Henry II between 1172 and 1177. The other old building right beside the river was formerly a warehouse (built in the early 16th century) and is now a Wetherspoons pub.
