Scuffle in the tree
I always love when these birds (directly translated from Swedish: silk tales) come for the rowan berries in the tree outside. There were other birds too, as you can see in the background. I got sharper shots, but this one had action, so it had to be my blip. They really want to eat on just that cluster of berries... :)
I got some stuff done today. Mostly what I shouldn't do right now since I need to clean up before the repair guys come on Tuesday. I have all Tuesday to be creative, but once an idea comes to my mind I just act on it...
A friend of mine had her 50th Birthday last October and since I'm most likely is going to see her during Easter, I wanted to make her an altered book from one in my stash. My original thought was to buy papers, but I'm going to find them in my box with papers instead and combine those I have with dyed papers, and she'll also be able to decorate it herself too. She's a card maker, so I have no doubt she'll make this book her own. :) So I started to tear out papers, folding some for pockets, leaving some for being transformed into pages you can write on, instead of text. The difference between the last book I showed you, the cover, and this one is that I'm using the papers already in the book, not removing the textblock. Some pages are folded and glued to make different pockets, and the torn out papers will be used for journaling cards and tags and such. :)
Tomorrow I need to get a move on to finish tidying up.
