Foxhunter.

The fox community at the allotment sites was very much in evidence this morning and in full vocal mode.  I had at least a dozen sightings, some maybe the same fox but not all as they were different sizes and different in appearance.  Ginny couldn't help but notice them as  they either strolled along the tracks ahead of us or crossed them from the cover of bushes on either side. She could hear them calling and of course she was picking up the scents.  She was on highest alert with every fibre of her body tense and poised to react.  We are required to keep dogs on leads at the site which I would do anyway as I think she would disappear to the next County in pursuit.  Not sure what she would do if one turned and faced her but they never seem to do that and I think they know all the little safe escapes and would not be cornered. No rest when we got home as the squirrel was back on the deck and scampering across my roof.  Ginny saw it and then we had a fat old wood pigeon perched where she could see that as well.  She bounds up to the door to ask to go out and barks furiously at the pigeon as it flies off.  What a busy little hound she is!
