Tree rings

Had a good day with mum, Norm and Holly. Went for a nice circular walk in Greno Woods (Grenoside, north Sheffield) where my mum grew up. Had a drink outside the 'Top Red Lion' afterwards (so called because there's a Red Lion at the bottom of the village too) then had a chippy tea when we got home :-)

My mum's just woken up from a snooze and looked about her and asked, "Where's Brian?" She'd been dreaming and realised what she'd said as soon as she'd said it. Aww. I know she misses him terribly, as we all do. I still come across things in the house with his handwriting on and it makes me fill up every time. I think it always will :'(
