A stitch in time ……….

It looked a promising day so we drove over to Valle Gran Rey. It takes an hour in the car and the roads are not at all straight. It was 10 degrees at the coolest parts enroute and 24 degrees when we left to come home early afternoon.
This very old sewing machine was being used by the occupants of the German registered boat in extras, to sew a repair on the sail for the boat. The foot treadle was a piece of ply wood attached to the machine by a piece of string. We saw a large fish landed, it was weighed at 2.6 kilos/6 pounds.
The sea was looking very inviting today but I didn’t have my swimmers with me.
When we drove back to our village we had a very nice fish lunch.
