Move along, nothing much happening here

Thank you again very much for the further hearts awarded to the beach scene from Thursday. It put the blip onto the first page of extras which is a rare occurrence. If I’ve not got around to thanking you, I will do so shortly. Todays blip is back to earth with a bump.

A grey old day, which I’ve tried to portray with a bit of faffing in an app to give a bit of mid winter colour to the 100/2 shades of grey that enveloped us today. It’s a dogwood, mid winter fire I suspect. The only shot I took today. We were planning going to Tenterden, glad we didn’t in the end.

We did manage, after much effort, to book flights to California, leaving on 21st April and returning on 9th May and concluded some other travel arrangements today. So although the weather was unsatisfactory, the day turned out well in the end. Drinks and nibbles snd Saturday evening awaits.

As an aside, as is befitting someone who sadly, keeps such records, on Friday we reached half way around the equator in our cumulative walks over the last 8 years. Will we make the whole circumference?
