Langwathby Station

The first steam special 2022, The Cumbrian Mountain Express, was suppose to stop for water at Langwathby. There were a lot of people out to see it, as it sped through the station, not stopping or even slowing down. Very disappointing for the children expecting to get a good look.
Langwathby is a lovely dinky little station (extra), the one I use when going to Yorkshire.  
We then had a drive round in the low mist over Hardside and managed to see the train again on the return journey as it headed towards Penrith (extra)
