Over the lake

On thé other side of the lake you can see the side view of the Dent du Midi, taken from our hotel window in Anzier. It’s very strange as we didn’t expect to be able to see it from here but Lake Geneva obviously curves round more than we thought.

We woke up this morning and decided to head off the mountain, away from the skiing crowds. Spent the day skiing near St Cergue in the Jura. I didn’t know there was so much skiing this close to Geneva. Lovely xcountry ski trails and very quiet away from the car parks. Great to explore an new area. We’re staying the night in Anzier then home again tomorrow.
