Whatever is Basil doing?

Following three fairly arduous days, it was not surprising that I felt tired today and slept in. Hurrah!

Basil and I found a new place to go this afternoon while Len was at tennis. A new café has opened at Bawdon Lodge Farm on the Forest. It has a walking trail as well.

Basil was delighted with the wide open spaces, not surprising after being hemmed in all of yesterday. If you're wondering, he hid the deposit amongst dead leaves, so I couldn't find it.

A decent  pot of decaf tea in the caff and a slice of GF lemon meringue pie. Delicious.
