Squirrel housing drama

I was looking out the kitchen window this morning and happened to see a squirrel drama unfolding. Apparently, the squirrel climbing the tree was not making a social call. It appeared that the current resident was not expecting or in the mood to welcome a guest this morning. He or she held on to her homestead but not without drama, chattering and popping in and out head first and tail first defending the homestead. They paid no attention to me on the patio with my 300mm lens. It was a drama worth sharing. The homestead in the old tree looks very cozy and well worth defending.

For the Record,
It snowed all morning with very cold temps, we had a couple of inches of fluff. It's cold again tonight, 19F/17C.
