Winchester highstreet

This is the view through one of the arches of The Westgate, looking down Winchester Highstreet. I took a few photos of different focus but I picked this one, I cant exactly say why, it just pleased me!

You can just about see (better viewed large) Elisabeth Frink's sculpture Horse and Rider (aka Man on The Horse) and the black and gold Winchester clock, that always greets everyone when you go onto the high street - both situated on the right.

Day consisted off nipping into town for a quick coffee with the girls, walking to my parents house where Nigel had brought round Alexander, so I managed to get in a good few hours of Nephew time which was wonderful. He's jusy such a happy chappy, its like he's in love with the world and he's so comfortable and trusting. Then I went over to Na's where we had a lovely relaxing afternoon, going out for more coffee in her gorgeous convertible mini (you can see me sitting in it on Walking Alone's blip here) and then settled down to watch the Film 5 year engagement, which I loved. Its a chickflik that tells the real up and downs on a relationship, quite refreshing really!
